Many congratulations to all the above for an absolutely brilliant day’s showing in such a prestigious Shotokan Alliance Championships, and especially to Sensei Adam Cockfield the Association Coach and to Jeff Carson our excellent referee on the day.

Sensei Mick Dewey 7th Dan and Chief Instructor to SEKU presented Sensei Malcolm Phipps with a special gold medal for beating the toughest opponent he has had to deal with in his karate life – Prostate Cancer!

What a lovely finish to a great day – so that takes the gold medal tally up to six!!!
