Calendar of Events 2010 (updated March 15th, 2010)

March

  • 4th Thu… Attention Squad Members – Extra kumite squad session at the London dojo, 7.30–9pm, in preparation for the Legend Open Championships on 13th March. Adult squad to attend and any of the junior squad that can make it. Development squad are also obviously welcome; likewise if the Referees/Judges want to be there then the more the merrier!

  • 6th Sat… Herts/Beds Kyu Grading from 12.30–2.30pm at Hemel Hempstead School.

  • 13th Sat… ‘Legend’ Open Shotokan Championships at Bracknell Leisure Centre.

  • 25th Thu… SSKI Squad Training at Hemel Hempstead School from 7.30–9.30pm. Fees as above in the January session.

 

April

  • 22nd Thu… Special Squad Kata Training Session with Sensei Phipps at Hemel Hempstead School (Hall) from 7–9pm, £10. This is not compulsory but kata competitors (team and individual) are advised to attend to improve their performance before the Shobu-Ippon tournament in May.

  • 25th Sun… SSKI Course with Sensei Phipps/Bunting/Cockfield at Hemel Hempstead School, 12–4pm, £20. More details later.

  • 8th Sat… ‘Shobu Ippon’ Open Shotokan Championships at Guildford Spectrum Centre.

  • 26th Wed… SSKI Dan and Kyu Mock Grading at Hemel Hempstead School, 7pm, £10.

  • 27th Thu… SSKI Squad Training at Hemel Hempstead School from 7.30–9.30pm. Fees as above in the January session.

 

June

  • 5th Sat… Herts/Beds Kyu Grading 12.30–2.30pm and Association Dan Grading 2.30–4.30pm at Hemel Hempstead School.

  • 13th Sun… SSKI Shotokan Shield Tournament at Hemel Hempstead School from 10–4pm.

  • 24th Thu… SSKI Squad Training at Hemel Hempstead School from 7.30–9.30pm. Fees as above in the January session.

  • 20th Sat… ‘Portsmouth Open’ Shotokan Championships at Mountbatten Centre, Portsmouth.

  • 24th Wed… SSKI Dan and Kyu Mock Grading at Hemel Hempstead School, 7pm, £10.

  • 25th Thu… SSKI Squad Training at Hemel Hempstead School from 7.30–9.30pm. Fees as above in the January session.

  • 27/28th Sat/Sun… SSKI Open Course with Sensei John Mullin 7th Dan (Executive Chairman of WTKO) at Hemel Hempstead School. More details nearer the date.
    SSKI COURSE 4

 

December

  • 12th Sun… SSKI Under-16’s Championships at Hemel Hempstead School (Gym), 10am–2pm approx.

  • Please note: No squad training in December.

 

*Old Basing, Winnersh and London Kyu Gradings will all be within a fortnight of the main Dan Gradings. Please check the website Calendar for details a little nearer the dates in question.
