Seishinkai Shotokan Karate International
Seishinkai achieve another HUGE medal haul at the Legend Open Championships
The Littledown Centre Bournemouth – March 25th 2007
The Seishinkai National Team, together with the newly formed Junior Kata Squad attended the Legend Open Championships in Bournemouth on the 25th March 2007 and enjoyed excellent success.
As normal, the Seishinkai National Team put on an amazing display of Karate - both in Kata and Kumite combined with the excellent Spirit, Etiquette and Sportsmanship that Seishinkai has become known and well respected for across the Shotokan World. An excellent show was also put on by the new Junior Kata Squad with a number of them winning Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in individual as well as team Kata events… with many of them competing for the first time ever! What an excellent performance… World Champions in the making!!
On the non-competing side, the Refereeing supplied by the Seishinkai Referees and Judges was excellent, with Kevin Thurlow, Dave Gaish and Jeff Carson working all day refereeing both Kata and Kumite. Well done.
Now… onto the results!
