SSKI Medal Tally: 4 Gold, 2 Silver, 8 Bronze
Well done to all who entered the above competition, which was a good run out for the more senior personnel of the squad in a very different sport karate environment arena. It was an open event with all styles of traditional karate taking part and the rules were a little different than the squad is used to; but an excellent set of results none the less. Many congratulations to all who took part and especially to Toni York who came away with two gold medals and a bronze and, considering she was feeling very much under the weather, this was an excellent performance. Young Thomas Carson also finished the day with two gold medals and the two kata teams won their two events in real style. Well done to all.
